Some things you can expect to do:

  • Establish strong working relationships with staff, managers, tenants, clients and vendors

  • Provide technical expertise in all aspects of the building including MEP and FLS systems

  • Manage proper maintenance procedures to ensure safety, comfort and efficiencies

  • Perform regular routine maintenance and repairs

  • Provide leadership and supervision of maintenance staff

  • Help coordinate and manage building certifications such as Energy Star, LEED and WELL

  • Manage construction build outs and warranty periods

  • Manage and coordinate vendors, develop or review work scopes, and negotiate bids

  • Promote concierge level service to tenants and visitors


Job Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful can-do attitude when interacting with building occupants and team members.

  • Must have a 2-year vocational degree in building operations, HVAC or other commercial building training.

  • You must have at least 10 years of building maintenance experience in a commercial office environment.

  • You will need to have a clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications, and the physical ability to work from ladders, work overhead and lift 100 lbs.

  • You must also be able to recognize the smell of smoke and other chemicals, identify unfamiliar or concerning situations and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.


You will really stand out if you have:

  • An HVAC technical degree.

  • Electrical, plumbing and building automation controls experience.

  • SMA, SMT and LEED certifications or equivalent are preferred

  • Formal supervisory training



Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.


Compensation: 


The annual base pay is $90,000 - 125,000.00. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
