This RPA & FMA course elective will address the needs of property management professionals who function as or collaborate with asset managers. This power course evaluates financial performance, covers asset acquisition and divestment, and provides counsel for approaching distressed real estate-owned properties. 

Key areas of emphasis include formulating an asset management plan tailored to prevailing economic conditions, measuring financial and operational objectives, and implementing tenant retention and attraction strategies. The course consists of interactive modules to improve proficiency in assessing the financial performance of buildings. Earn up to 24 CEUs!

About the Instructor:

Dave Wright recently retired as Vice President of Property Management for Newmark, a full-service international real estate services firm. While at Newmark, Dave was responsible for all property management activities for Newmark’s Minnesota region, as well as all business development initiatives.

Dave has over 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He spent 30 years with U. S. Bank as a senior leader in the Bank’s Corporate Real Estate Group where he held leadership roles in property management, asset management, project management and acquisitions and dispositions.

Dave has been a member of Greater Minneapolis BOMA since 1983. He is also an instructor in BOMI’s (Building Owners and Managers Institute) Real Property Administrator curriculum, where he has instructed classes for the last 10 years.
