The understanding of intentional design and construction of buildings, as well as their daily functioning, is crucial in property and facilities management. The two-part Design, Operation, and Maintenance of Building Systems courses aim to provide property and facilities managers with a comprehensive background to excel in the industry. In Part II of this series, you will gain knowledge about lighting, internal transportation systems, property maintenance, security, and safety systems. 24 CEU's Pending

The impact of technology and lighting updates is emphasized throughout the course. For instance, you will learn how safety changes and updated codes can affect various systems in your building, such as elevators, locks, insurance, cleaning, and more. The Design, Operations, and Maintenance of Building Systems, Part II course will also assist you in planning for building certifications as these programs require a comprehensive approach to building management. 

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
